Architecture
Designed by Arid Architects, the building’s key defining feature is the use of large sculptural breeze blocks that generate depth and pattern across the façade. Situated on a bright corner, the stone screens draw the balconies inward, creating shade and privacy while establishing a bold rhythmic geometry. The color palette, beige, terracotta, and natural earth tones, is inspired by the archaeological collection of the neighboring museum, forming a quiet dialogue between the building and Athens’ ancient material culture. Original flooring on the ground level will be preserved, maintaining continuity with the street’s layered history.
